Cosmolocalism refers to a process of mutalistic knowledge and resource sharing between local and global systems.
Embedded within a former institute in central Amsterdam, the Cosmolocal Playground is a residency designed to foster deep collaboration between local and global innovators. Social innovators, artists, technologists, and researchers gather to co-create market-driven projects that deliver real-world value, both locally and globally.

The Factory is the generator of new things. Structured as a residency, it offers the space and needed support structure to collaborate. Participants are encouraged to push the limits of traditional creative and technological boundaries to explore projects where there may be cultural overlaps of technology, art, and social innovation.

Cosmo-localism is an innovative concept that aims to bridge knowledge, production and consumption of globally distributed communities into local hubs. By exchanging knowledge and resources in a decentralized, cosmo-local fashion, we can empower local communities to self-produce and govern value created. From the on-the-ground work at different localities we can abstract products, protocols and practices that flow into the global knowledge hub.
